The Half Yearly Business Development Conference 2019 of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. was held on July 27, 2019 at Hotel InterContinental, Dhaka. Chairman of the Bank Alhajj Abdus Samad Labu inaugurated the conference as Chief Guest. The meeting was presided by Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R Chowdhury.

Members of Board of Directors Hafez Alhajj Md. Enayet Ullah, Md. Amir Uddin PPM, Alhajj  Nazmul Ahsan Khaled, Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah, Alhajj  Md. Anowar Hossain, Badiur Rahman, Alhajj  Engr. Kh. Mesbahuddin Ahmed and Alhajj Ahamedul Haque were present in the conference.

Among others Deputy Managing Directors Md. Fazlul Karim, S. M. Jaffar, Shabbir Ahmed, Md. Shafiqur Rahman and other Senior Executives of Head Office were present on the meeting. Managers from 171 branches of the Bank participated on the conference.

According to the un-audited calculation of the first six months of 2019, total deposit of the Bank stood at Tk. 30,659 Crore. At the same period the Bank invested Tk.27,314 Crore. Import and export of the Bank were Tk.8,741 Crore and Tk.5,380 Crore respectively. During this period the Bank has collected Tk. 1,911 Crore foreign remittance. The Bank also had good prospect to maintain its classified investments in the first half of the year.
