Al-Arafah Islami Bank, one of the leading Sharia-based banks in the country, has awarded the Chairman’s Award to the best officers in deposit collection. As chief guest Chairman of the Bank Khwaja Shahriar presented crests, certificates and cash incentives to the best 24 officers in 8 categories at a function held on Bank’s head office on Thursday, April 17.
Presided by Managing Director (Current Charge) Md. Rafat Ullah Khan Directors of the Bank Md. Shahin Ul Islam, Md. Abdul Wadud, Mohammad Asraful Hassan FCA were present at the meeting. Deputy Managing Director Md. Fazlur Rahman Chowdhury delivered welcome speech at the function.
Deputy Managing Director Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Md. Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan, Mohammed Hossain and top executives were also present at the award giving ceremony. A total of 524 officers at various levels of the Bank were awarded the Chairman’s Award for their outstanding achievements in deposit collection during the two-month campaign.
Chairman of the Bank, Khwaja Shahriar congratulated the award-winning officers. He emphasized on developing deposit mix-ups, increasing retail deposits by new ideas and strategies into practice in deposit collection. He also emphasized on increasing SME investment. He emphasized on providing better and faster services by demonstrating complete dedication to Shariah compliance and the highest professionalism in customer service.
