Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Fintech Innovations International DMCC, UAE, on Wednesday, April 18. Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R Chowdhury was present as chief guest in the ceremony. S M Jaffar, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank and Azizunnessa Huq, Executive Director of Fintech Innovations International DMCC signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Among others Deputy Managing Directors Md. Fazlul Karim, Shabbir Ahmed, Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President Kazi Mahmood Karim, and other senior officials were also present in the Inaugural Ceremony. The event was organized by Md. Mujibul Kader, Executive Vice President of the Bank.
With the new agreement, AIBL becomes a subscriber of the digital platform “TradeAssets” -the first trade finance e-Marketplace, which will enable AIBL to enhance its capabilities in reaching out to all foreign financial institution members of the platform, directly, with a view to executing trade finance related transactions instantly.
