Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. has opened 180th branch at Bahaddarhat, Chandgaon of Chattogram on 19 December, 2019. Chairman of KDS group and President of Chattogram Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce & Industries Alhajj Khalilur Rahman inaugurated the new branch as Chief Guest. Vice Chairman of the Bank Alhajj Abdus Salam, members of the Board Alhajj Md. Liakat Ali Chowdhury and Alhajj Ahamedul Haque were present as special guest in the occassion. Managing Director and CEO Farman R Chowdhury presided and delivered welcome speech in the ceremony.

Chattogram 6 no ward councilor Ashraful Alam, Former Customs Officer Md. Abul Kalam and inhabitant of Chandgaon Mohammad Abul Qasim Nizami spoke at inaugural ceremony. Executive Vice President and Head of AIBL Chattogram Zone Mohammad Azam and Managers of different Branchs of Chattogram were present in the occasion. The ceremony was conducted by Executive Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah and Senior Vice President Jalal Ahmed. A large number of local people and well-wishers were present in the inauguration.
