Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. has opened 179th branch at Dohazari, Chandanish of Chattogram on 18 December, 2019. Chairman of KDS group and President of Chittagang Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce & Industries Alhajj Khalilur Rahman inaugurated the new branch as Chief Guest. Vice Chairman of the Bank Alhajj Abdus Salam spoke as special guest. Managing Director and CEO Farman R Chowdhury delivered welcome speech in the ceremony.

Sangu Group Chairman Mainuddin Sohel, Director Mosleuddin Sohel, Former Chairman of Dohazari Union Abdullah Al Noman Beg, Alhajj Hafez Mufti Ahmed Hossain Al Qaderi and President of Hazari Tower Business Association Kazi Hasan spoke at inaugural ceremony. Executive Vice President and Head of AIBL Chattogram Zone Mohammad Azam and Managers of different Branchs of Chattogram were present in the occasion. The ceremony was conducted by Executive Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah and Senior Vice President Jalal Ahmed. Maolana Habib Ullah conducted dua mahfil after the ceremony.
