Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has opened the 176th branch at Signboard of Narayangonj on 16 October 2019. Director of the Bank Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah inaugurated the new branch as Chief Guest. Managing Director and CEO Farman R Chowdhury presided over the ceremony.

The occasion was addressed by Deputy Managing Director S M Jaffar, Executive Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah, Prof (retd) Mainuddin Ahmed Mamun and Prominent Businessman Mufti Md. Monir Hossain. Executive Vice President and Head of AIBL Dhaka Central and South Zone Monir Ahmed delivered the welcome speech.

The ceremony was conducted by Senior Vice President and Head of PR Jalal Ahmed. Mufti and Muhaddis Nazrul Islam of Amlapara Madrasa conducted dua mahfil after the ceremony. A large number of local people and well-wishers were present in the inauguration ceremony. Manager of the branch Ismail Hossain thanked the audience.

AIBL Director Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah said in his speech, Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. was established not for making profit by doing business but for the welfare of society. He invited all to have the blessings of Islamic banking services in the new branch. He also said the Islamic banking system can boost-up the economy of the country.
