The Annual Business Development Conference 2019 of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. was held on January 23, 2017 at Hotel Shonargaon, Dhaka. Chairman of the Bank Alhajj Abdus Samad Labu inaugurated the conference as the Chief Guest. The meeting was presided by Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R. Chowdhury.

The event was addressed by Vice Chairman of Board of Directors of the Bank Alhajj Mohammad Abdus Salam, Directors Alhajj Hafez Md. Enayet Ullah, Alhajj Md. Liakat Ali Chowdhury, Md. Amir Uddin PPM, Alhajj Nazmul Ahsan Khaled, Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah, Alhajj Md. Harun-ar-Rashid Khan, Alhajj Md. Anowar Hossain, Alhajj Engr. Kh. Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Alhajj Ahamedul Haque, Khalid Rahim and M. Kamaluddin Chowdhury.

Among others Deputy Managing Directors Md. Fazlul Karim, Muhammad Mahmoodul Haque, S. M. Jaffar and other Senior Executives of Head Office were present on the meeting. Managers from 168 branches of the Bank participated on the conference.

According to the un-audited calculation, total deposit of the Bank stood at Tk. 28,485 Crore after the end of year 2018. At the same period the Bank invested Tk. 26,513 Crore. Import and export of the Bank were Tk. 16,857 Crore and Tk. 11,448 Crore respectively.
