Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. has opened 172nd branch at Jamgora, Ashulia of Dhaka on 6 August, 2019. Chairman of Executive Committee of the Bank Alhajj Hafez Md. Enayet Ullah inaugurated the new branch as Chief Guest. Managing Director and CEO Farman R Chowdhury presided over the ceremony.

Executive Vice President and Head of AIBL Dhaka North Zone Md. Monjurul Alam delivered the welcome speech. Senior Executive Vice President Kazi Mahmood Karim was present in the occasion.

The occasion was addressed by Executive Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah, Managing Director of Happy Fashion Mahbubur Rahman and Managing Director of The Labaid Hospital Md. Moshiur Rahman.

The ceremony was organized by Vice President and Head of PR Jalal Ahmed. Imam of Mollabari Jame E Mosque Hafez Maolana Sirajul Islam conducted dua mahfil after the ceremony. A large number of local people and well-wishers were present in the inauguration. Manager of the branch M Samsuddin Ahmed thanked the audience.

Hafez Md. Enayet Ullah, in his speech, said Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. was established not for making profit by doing business but for the welfare of the society. He invited all to have the blessings of Islamic banking service in the new branch. He also said, Islamic banking system can boost-up the economy of the country.
