Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. has opened a sub-branch at Sarkar Hat in Chittagong to spread Shariah-based banking services among the people. Executive Vice President and Head of Chittagong Zone Mohammed Azam, recently (22 July) inaugurated the sub-branch as Chief Guest.

Among the Managers Hafeez Salamat Ullah, A.K.M Sazzad Hossain, Mohammed Momtazul Hoque, Mohammed Ishaque, Mohammed Abdur Rashid, Mohammed Nurul Absar and Absar Hossain, Gumanmardan Union Parishad Chairman Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury, eminent politician SM Rabban and businessman Osman Gani Saudagar, Babu Dayal Hari Mahajan, educationist Sultanul Alam Chowdhury were present during the inauguration of Sarkar Hat sub-branch under AIBL Hathazari branch. Officer-in-Charge of the sub-branch Mohammad Yasin thanked at the end of the meeting.
