School Banking Conference held at Bagerhat with the aim of inculcating the tendency of savings among students. Under the guidance of Bangladesh Bank and the initiative of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, students of 20 institutions participated in the occasion. Under the leadership of Al-Arafah Islami Bank, a day-long conference was held on June 29, Saturday, at Bagerhat District Parishad Auditorium with the participation 20 Scheduled Banks of the District.  

Bangladesh Bank Executive Director Husne Ara Shikha was present as Chief Guest at the Conference. Presided by AIB Deputy Managing Director Md. Fazlur Rahman Chowdury Bangladesh Bank Joint Director Muhammad Jahangir Alam, Sonali Bank DGM Sukumar Roy, Janata Bank DGM Md Mofizul Islam, Krishi Bank DGM Devdas Sarkar and Agrani Bank AGM Vipul Mandal were present in the event.

Among others Executive Vice President of AIB PLC. AKM Amjad Hossain, Senior Vice President Abu Said Md. Abdul Mannaf, Senior Assistant Vice President Sheikh Asadul Haque, Managers and senior officers of all Scheduled Banks of Bagerhat and students of various schools of Bagerhat were also present in the conference.

Quiz competition was organized with school students and prizes were distributed in the event. School bags and gift items were distributed to the students also.
